Idiom Syndrome - Sorry BudTurn on JavaScript, or get a browser that actually has it, foo' Actually, I'm really, really sorry, but there is no other way to code this site, on this server (where there are no scripting services) to be as easy and quick to maintain as what we have now with JavaScript.If you have JavaScript off because of popups, I have 2 suggestions for you:

Go to http://mozilla.org and download Mozilla. It is basically the netscape code that was released soon before Netscape got bought out by evil meanie head AOL (and subsequently got started putting out a stupid browser). The difference is that it has been worked on by 1000+ people, and one of it's features is a popup blocker. You can set it to block all popups except for those that come from sites in a list that you make up. This way, you can have JavaScript on, and still not worry about popups (and, for sites that have no popup ads, but use popups, you can now use those properly). My final point for why you should download this: it is an open source project. That means that it has been reviewed many, many times by people who do for the love of doing it, not just to crank out the code. This translates into more security, faster runtimes, and a nicer interface in general than proprietary software (a.k.a. Microsoft).

If you really can't live without precious Internet Explorer or something else (and if it is something else, it can't already block popups as well), then here is a link to a Google search for 'popup block free'. You can probably dig up a decent free program from that.
